F11 flange

F11 of F11 flange is a steel grade in ASTM A182 standard (this standard also includes F12, F5, F9, F22 and other steel grades)

This steel grade has a wide range of applications, and can be used to transport media in high-temperature and high-pressure environments such as petrochemical, power generation and oil refining industries

There are two installation methods for F11 flange:

1. Before F11 flange, arrange the inside and outside of stainless steel pipe fittings, and then install the flange with slotted ring on the pipe to be connected. Above, the end of the pipe needs 90 degree flanging. After treatment, the end surface of the pipe needs to be polished. After polishing, it should be vertical and flat without burr, bump and deformation, and it needs to be rounded with one-to-one tools

2. Use the finished product to flanging the short pipe and then weld it on the pipe. Insert the O-ring rubber seal ring and stainless steel seal ring installed on both sides into the flange with groove ring for sealing. The inner diameter of the inner hole of the seal ring is the same as that of the pipe, and then the flange hole is connected with bolts. The bolt assemblies need to be tightened symmetrically. When tightening the stainless steel butt welding flange, please pay attention to the sealing of each joint and meet the required specifications

Scope of application: F11 flange is not easy to deform, well sealed, widely used, has corresponding rigid and elastic requirements and reasonable butt welding thinning transition, the distance between the welding crater and the joint surface is large, and the joint surface is free from welding temperature deformation. It adopts a more complex trumpet shape structure, which is suitable for pipelines with large fluctuations in pressure or temperature or pipelines with high temperature, high pressure and low temperature, and is generally used for the connection of pipes and valves with PN greater than 2.5 MPa; It is also used to transport expensive, flammable and explosive media on the pipeline
